This hotel is so stylish and cozy! The staff were great too, even surprising me with a room upgrade for my birthday, complete with wine and chocolates. Plus, their complimentary evening wine & antipasti was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring!

Excellent location, very nice staff, very comfortable room with a renewed look (including the bathroom) and good cleaning. Every afternoon they put some chocolates and a souvenir postcard on the bedside table and renewed the water bottles.
We were pretty upset about the breakfast room. It is too small and there are only 2 small tables and 1 large rectangular table. As soon as you meet a little more people (specifically 8 people) it is already difficult and uncomfortable to sit down. And above all we didn't like that the people in charge of replacing and picking up appeared very late in the afternoon and everyone had to pick up their service so that others could sit down, as if you were in a Mc Donald's. We were also a little annoyed that one day we left very early to go on an excursion, and requested a picnic with some breakfast, and were told that it was impossible because no one was there at that hour (they didn't even consider that they could give it to us the night before...). So that day we lost the breakfast that was paid for.

We appreciated the friendly Reception and House staff who were willing to help us as necessary. Anne provided excellent advice re shopping and restaurants. Our host 'The Innkeeper' supervised a friendly and generous drinks sessions on the 3rd and 5th floor each afternoon at 5.30 pm where we enjoyed the company of other guests. Its location is brilliant and we will definitely be staying there again. This is a small quality boutique hotel, older style but stylishly renovated to modern standards. There was nothing, repeat nothing, we did not like about the hotel.

Great location. Staff is friendly. The wine at 5:30 is very good idea. We talked with owner and other guests during the time and got many advices about restaurants, shopping and place we have to visit in San Francisco. I never wrote reviews before, but I decided to do that, because the ratio between price, location and service is very good for this hotel.
